The Jay Allen Show joins Safety FM

Let us be realistic; this is not newsworthy material, but I wanted to share with you some of the changes that occurred today on Safety FM (Flagship Show).

Today was the 100th episode of Safety FM Flagship Show (this does not include Safety FM Minis in case you were wondering) this is a milestone that I would have never been able to accomplish without you the listener.

With this being said, I have decided to change the Safety FM Flagship Show, and rebrand to The Jay Allen Show. You might be asking yourself, why did you choose to do this? There were multiple purposes behind the decision to rebrand. First, we have a radio station and a podcast network called Safety FM; I didn’t feel that it was fair to the other host to say they were part of Safety FM, especially with me hosting a show called Safety FM. I know we waited a while to start calling it Safety FM Flagship Show. Secondly, by having the show called Safety FM, it caused some market confusion when other shows said they were now part of Safety FM, people didn’t know if that means the Safety FM Show, was it the streaming Safety FM.live or were they part of the podcast network.

You will notice immediately that The Jay Allen Show has a lot of similarities to the Safety FM Flagship Show. Of course, it will, I am the same person, so not a lot will change with the show. The Jay Allen Show will still focus mostly on safety, but from time to time, I will interview people from outside of the safety space that I think will be interesting for you and me. By no means has this changed my love and passion for safety.

If you currently follow the Safety FM Flagship Show via RSS, good news, the new show will be using the same RSS feed that we previously used. As far as the show on Safety FM.live, we will still be streaming at the same time.

My whole goal with this change was to have Safety FM be its own brand. The point was to build something where I am not the center of attention but its hosts who brings the information to the people. I hope with this change that will be noticed within our industry and groups.

Thank you for being the best part of Safety FM, and that is the listeners and the practitioners. I hope that going forward, I can serve you as I did in the past with the Safety FM Flagship Show. Please give The Jay Allen Show a chance as we learn together what this new space will sound like, as we will be bringing this show directly into the podcast network as we record it in the streaming service.
